Vanessa King (director) wanted to tell a story surrounded by the past/present events of a brain injury and the colour red. I kept the past minimal and clean, and filled the present with chaos and an element of red. One of my favourite moments was collaborating with James McDonald (DOP) in the fishing shack and being able to create piercing rays of light with simply cardboard to add texture and fear to the scenes shot here.
