Ally Global Foundation is a Canadian charity dedicated to preventing sex trafficking and exploitation, and providing long-term care for survivors. Although their original branding is clean and clear, we can elevate it and still communicate a clear message while appreciating the stories of survivors and connecting with the target audience, donors. Here’s how I would design and art direct a rebrand.

Through paint strokes, deep and earthy colours, and a luxurious font, we can create a storyline that centres around children, innocence, and play. Each piece of this branding is intentional and perfectly narrates everything ALLY provides and stands for.

The font chosen is elegant, and soft yet confident, while the colour palette visually explains ALLY’s efforts to prevent sex trafficking and exploitation, provide survivors with care, and prepare survivors for adulthood.

This branding is meant for all aspects of ALLY. It preserves the intention behind ALLY’s work with Indigenous communities and in film. Using deep earth colours as a nod to Indigenous roots and the paint strokes to connect the creativity in film back to the brand.
