Who doesn’t love making intentional messes? Hemmings House tasked me to make a mess to showcase the exaggerated reality of mental health that goes unnoticed. I loved covering the tile back splash in the kitchen to create a different atmosphere and using piles of things, whether handcrafted or purchased, to fill in the space and create so much texture.
